Reynolds legacy ACSS data is provided courtesy of Southwire Company, LLC as a service to the industry for analyzing Reynolds-process ACSS designs and for design of new lines using Reynolds-process ACSS. This information should not be used for Southwire ACSS conductors produced after 1994. In 1994, Southwire stopped using the Reynolds bobbin-annealing process. All Southwire ACSS produced since 1994 is annealed after stranding. The benefits include tighter stranding, improved self-damping, and a significant reduction in high-temperature sag. Use of these files on Southwire ACSS produced after 1994 will provide incorrect results. Please contact Southwire Overhead Technology at OHT@southwire.com for Southwire-certified ACSS data for lines designed using Southwire conductor.
All of the cable models that Power Line Systems has are posted on this site. If you do not find the cable you are looking for then you can contact the manufacturer and ask them for a cable file or create your own as described in section 9.2 of the PLS-CADD manual.
Once you find the conductor you want simply click on it to copy it to your computer.
October 29, 2010: Fraser ACSS TW, Fraser ACSS TW HS and Fraser ACSS TW HS 285 cable files have been updated. Contact Southwire for more information.
