PLS-CADD/Ultralite is a streamlined version of PLS-CADD for quick modeling of a single span of conductor or wire. It develops Sag-Tension reports as well as Stringing Charts for a user definable range of span lengths and stringing temperatures.
PLS-CADD/Ultralite is built-in to the standard edition of PLS-CADD and PLS-CADD/Lite. If you already use one of these editions of PLS-CADD then you should continue to do so to ensure compatibility with your standards.
As a service to the overhead line engineering community Power Line Systems is pleased to make an Internet licensed version of PLS-CADD/Ultralite available at no cost. You may download this program here. It will run on Windows Vista and newer systems that have an active Internet connection.
PLS-CADD/Ultralite is a hybrid cloud/desktop application. Your no cost license is served over the Internet as are a library of thousands of PLS-CADD cable models ("*.wir" files), but any projects you create with it are saved on your local computer. If you require technical support then you may upgrade to PLS-CADD or PLS-CADD/Lite. Technical support is not included with PLS-CADD/Ultralite.
