In this issue:
2002 proved to be another good year for Power Line Systems. We built upon the solid foundation of PLS-CADD version 5 by adding powerful finite element capability that gives the designer unprecedented flexibility. We created a suite of wire and structure clearance commands that help you to guarantee 3-dimensional clearance requirements are met. And last, but not least we continued the daily improvements of our products in response to your calls and emails. It is this constant user driven refinement that has made them a success.
While the last year was a good one, we are even more excited about 2003 which is off to a great start with the release of version 6 of PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, SAPS and TOWER (see below for more details). We will continue to stay abreast of the latest codes and industry developments in 2003, and you can look forward to major improvements in drafting. As always, we have a few surprises in store as well.
During 2002 RTE (French National Grid, a subsidiary of EDF) rolled our software out to all of its engineering design centers. We would like to welcome them as well as all of the following clients who became new users of our software. We also want to thank the hundreds of current users (not listed below) who chose to upgrade their software. We appreciate your trust and confidence.
