Version 12.50 Released!

We are now shipping Version 12.50 of all our software. The focus of this release is refining the programs in pursuit of better, faster and simpler. For example, you will find improved graphics in PLS-POLE, additional simpler connection checking options in TOWER and extended code support in PLS-CADD. You may use Help/Download Upgrade command to upgrade to version 12.50 today.

Classes and Events

Thanks to the presenters, sponsors and all 320 attendees for making the 2013 Advanced Training and User Group meeting the largest and best yet. We would like to extend a special thanks to those that volunteered their time to make presentations. Without their contributions the event would not be what it is. In addition, we would like to thank Network Mapping (Nicholas Ferguson) and Valmont-Newmark (Ken Sharpless) for sponsoring the rooftop receptions on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Presentations and handouts may now be downloaded from the ATUG webpage. If you have any questions regarding the presentations or need further support, please contact PLS technical support and we will assist you. Finally, if you have any topics that you would like to see presented at the next ATUG, please feel free to submit them to Otto Lynch.

If you missed the ATUG then the next opportunity to meet with us in person may be at these trade shows:

Current Versions

The current shipping versions of our software are listed below. These versions support Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 (both 32 and 64 bit). We recommend you run a 64 bit edition of Windows so that you may take advantage of the enormous investment we have made in the x64 Edition. Note that Microsoft will terminate support for Windows XP on April 8, 2014. Since we rely on Microsoft support, we do not anticipate continuing to support Windows XP beyond June 1, 2014.

We strongly encourage you to upgrade to the current release of all the applications you own. To do so please use the Help/Download Upgrade command built into your PLS software. This would also be a good time to use the Help/Check for Updated Manual command to obtain the version 12.50 edition of the manuals. If you are out of date on your upgrade and technical support period, please contact sales@powline.com.
